Church News

Important Notice!!!  Coronado Bible Church has moved.  We are no longer able to meet at the Coronado Hotel due to long term construction there.  Because of that our service has moved to Rey De Paz in Coronado on the Panamerica Highway just after the Rey as you leave Coronado across from the Cochez hardware store.  Not only has our location change but our service time has changed as well.  Fellowship begins at 8:30 a.m. and the service starts promptly at 8:45 a.m.

This past Saturday, December 3rd, CBC held their third annual Ladies Tea at the Coronado Golf Condos.  The event was a huge success with 87 ladies enjoying tea, sandwiches and desserts.  There was plenty of music, a funny but very important teaching skit, and of course food and tea.  There were over 30 door prizes handed out.  CBC would like to thank all the local business that donated prizes.  They were a big part of the huge success of this event.  In the end, seeds were planted, the Love of Jesus was on full display and the Lord Jesus Christ was glorified by all who attended.

CBC celebrated it's First Annual Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, November 24.  We were blessed with over 75 people!  The event took place on the 32nd floor of Coronado Golf.  God provided a spectacular day for us to enjoy His creation.  Its success is credited to all who participated in bringing us delicious food, donating tables, chairs, table CBC’s First Annual Thanksgiving Dinner Christmas Cantata cloths, their time and money. Thank you to everyone that attended for all of your time and effort in making this day a success and hopefully an annual event.

CBC participated in the CASA Craft Fair/Bake Sale on Nov. 20, 2011. We had a table where we sold crosses, picture frame, ornaments, hand-made dish cloths, original artwork and lots of baked goods. We raised just over $500 that will go into the mission’s fund.  This will help us continue the New Mom's Mission, as well as God's Eyes and other future missions.  We are anticipating this to be an annual event so if you would like to make anything to donate; you’ve got a year to make it! We appreciate all of your support!

CBC completed another successful God's Eyes mission this past week.  This mission was held at three locations in the Bejuco/Chame and Las Uvas areas.  Our two doctors (Brian and Joseph) saw 354 people in these three days.  Hundreds of pairs of glasses were given out, the Good News was spoken, and most importantly, dozens accepted Christ Jesus as Savior!  CBC would like to thank the churches and organizations that opened up their sites to this great mission and we would also like to thank the dozens of volunteers that made it a success.  Finally and most importantly, we want to give thanks and praise to the Father and His Son who's love and grace makes everything possible!

Events and Announcements

You put kids together with soccer, swimming and crafts, you’ve got yourself a really exciting day of fun! The members of CBC have been working alongside the Word of Life camp to help reach under privileged children in the Republic of Panama.  On Nov. 19th, the Word of Life camp hosted a day for the children of Metro Amigo in order that they could come out from the city to their camp in Punta Chame. Metro Amigo is a government- operated children’s center that assists in meeting the needs of underprivileged children.  Many of these children have been abandoned by their parents. Metro Amigo has three homes, one for boys, one for girls and one for young children.  On this particular Saturday, the house parents of Metro Amigo were spiritually filled with words of encouragement offered by Mario Herrera. Our very own Pastor Tim refereed soccer while some of the ladies from CBC helped with life guarding and crafts.  Witnessing the joy in the children’s faces made this day a great success!  If you love kids and serving the Lord, the Word of Life camp can always use workers.  During the dry months they have up to 200 children each week, experiencing God’s love at work in their lives. If interested, kindly contact Mirko and Traci Delibasich.  They would be happy to be of assistance. Call 507- 315-1337 or email mirkodel@ cableonda.net Where is God leading you to serve?

Coronado Bible Church is an English-speaking, non-denominational church in Coronado.  However, we don’t limit ourselves to just English!  We are working hard to try to spread God’s word to more people!  For our Spanish speaking friends, we offer instantaneous translation through headsets.

We are also blessed to have an incredibly experienced American Sign Language (ASL) translator.  Services can be signed with advance arrangements.  CBC is so pleased that God has blessed us and allowing us to offer this new service.
