How Do I Get Involved at CBC?

Our church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community.

Lunch @ CBC

Once a month we have a Fellowship Dinner at the church immediately following the service. This is a time to share some food together around tables. The theme varies month to month and is announced in the bulletin.

Men’s Breakfast

Every 2nd Saturday of the month at 9:00am the men of the church meet at Coronado Bible Church for breakfast and devotions.

Women’s Bible Study

The women of the church meet at CBC for Bible Study. There are usually 3-4 studies through-out the year. Each study is normally 6-10 weeks in length. The current study is listed in the weekly bulletin.

Love to meet people and make them feel part of the family? This is a great chance to connect and meet your fellow believers in Christ Jesus. Sunday mornings 10:00-10:30 am be present to greet those arriving for church. Welcome them to church, hand them a bulletin and help them in any way needed. Introduce yourself and have them fill out a Visitor’s Form if they are new to the church.

Music Team

Singers and musicians sharing their love for God in worship. There is room for a variety of levels of musical talent. It involves a weekly rehearsal and Sunday morning worship. Part of this team is the back table with sound and projection. So if you don’t want to be up front, but want to help with this ministry, there is a place for you.

Mission Outreach

Coronado Bible Church is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom in Panama.  We are active in missions in Panama and supporting these missions with our money, labor, gifts and our prayers.  The missions we support are the  Word Of Life Camp in Bejuco; and Children’s Homes around the Coronado area.  We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether around the Coronado area, throughout Panama or around the world.

English Classes

Conversational English classes are given at least once a year and the only requirement to help is that you speak clear English. This usually meets for an 8-10 week course that is centered around some basic English learning: pronunciations of the alphabet and numbers, nouns, verbs and some simple grammar. It is set up for one English speaker and 4 Spanish speakers at one table. We have a roaming ‘Friendly Translator’ that can be called upon to help you explain a word or concept to your students in Spanish. The night ends with a short devotional from a local Panamanian pastor.
Contact if you have any questions about these ministries.
