CBC Members Distribute Food and Other Items to Flood Victims in Chorrera

CBC members and others spent the morning distributing food, clothing, and household items to those effected by the flooding.  See some of the pictures of the river that is causing the issues.  See the one picture of the cement pad.  A house was there but it is totally gone.  The place where they are cooking is a set up that is now providing meals for those in the area that are in need.  Also, many people are sleeping in this cooking area because they don’t have anything or anywhere else to go.  Many of the ones that we met and prayed with have lost everything.  The pictures do not do it justice… Read more…

Christmas Party for the Children in Filipina

CBC is partnering with Word Of Life to present a Christmas party for the children in the village of Filipina in the mountains up by Sora and Altos Del Maria.  The event is scheduled for  December 7th and will start at 9 a.m.   Word Of Life along with several CBC members have been spending time up in Filipina spreading the Word of God to the people and children.  This is an opportunity to give something special to the children and families in this village.  If you are interested in participating please contact Sandi Mayhew at Ministry@CoronadoBibleChurch.org.

First Church Service at the New Church

Today was a truly blessed day and great day for the Lord and his Son.  Today we held our first fellowship and service at the new church in the Coronado Mall.  The turn out was wonderful as we lifted up the new church to the glory of God.  There were over 110 men, women and children in attendance who joined in fellowship, songs of worship, communion and heard an inspired message from God.  It was truly inspiring.

Now that we are firmly into the new church, we look forward to future Sundays but we also look forward to utilizing the church on other nights for other events that can bring the Word of God to more people in the area.  Keep praying for CBC and pray for how we can continue to spread the good news of Christ Jesus.  That is what this is all about.

The New Facility is Ready!!!

Finally after long months of planning and hard work and God’s guidance, we are ready to enter our new church.  We had our final inspection by the Chame municipality on Friday morning and we passed the inspection.  All the paper work for occupancy was submitted Friday as well.  The municipality is allowing us to go ahead and use the church this Sunday, November 11th even thought the occupancy won’t be finalized till Wednesday.  What a great blessing this is.

With that, we will be holding our first service at our church this Sunday, November 11th!  Fellowship will begin at 10 a.m. and the service will start at 10:30 a.m.  We will also be holding communion during the service.  The elders of CBC want to thank all those that played a part in getting the church ready.  The elders also want to give the people of Rey De Paz church “un mil gracias” for opening up their beautiful church and allowing us to worship there this year.  It is my hope and prayer that God bless that congregation and leads them to do great things in His name in the months and years to come.

Now my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, with our new church home, it is time for us to step it up and take the next steps in spreading the good news!  See you this Sunday and every day to come as we spread the good news

John Sims – elder
